Tools Needed
- Floor Jack
- Jack Stands

- Fuel Line Disconnect Tool

- New Fuel Pump
Replacement Procedure
- Start by disconnecting the battery to avoid any electrical issues.
- Use the floor jack to lift up the rear end of the vehicle. For safety, don’t forget to use jack stands.
- Locate the fuel pump. It is usually positioned on the underside of the vehicle near the fuel tank.
- Before removing anything, use the drain pan to drain out any remaining fuel from the tank.
- Use the fuel line disconnect tool to disconnect the fuel lines from the fuel pump.
- Remove the fasteners that are holding the fuel pump in place.
- Once the pump is loose, carefully remove it and set it aside.
- Install the new fuel pump, perform the above steps in reverse. Start by positioning the new pump, then reconnect the fasteners and fuel lines.
- Reconnect the battery, start your engine, and check for any leaks.
- If everything seems fine, lower your vehicle from the jack stands using the floor jack.
